The palate is dominated by notes of rich, intense chocolate, cloves and spices, balanced by sweeter notes of vanilla, orange zest and raisins, while the finish is long and pleasant, with hints of cocoa beans, allspice and baking spices. Produced in the tradition of the classic Pennsylvania or Monongahela rye whiskys, this spirit is aged a minimum of four years and bottled-in-bond at 100 proof. It was named Best Buy Whisky of the Year by Whisky Advocate.
