Bodegas Protos presents an elegant red wine reserve and full of character: Protos Reserva, one of the wines better valuation has led critics. This wine is made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes harvested by hand which is selected once in the cellar. Its consists vinification of fermentation in stainless steel with temperature control and maceration of 21 days with several daily pumping.
Finally spends 18 months in oak barrels (20% American barrels a year, 30% French oak barrels for a year and 50% new French oak barrels).

Tasting Notes:

Color: intense bright dark cherry color with garnet rim.

Nose: powerful, black fruits with nice toasty notes, spicy, creamy oak, complex and elegant.

Taste: powerful, flavorful, toasty, round tannins, good acidity, fruity and spicy. Good backbone and lingering finish.
