Padre Azul Añejo Tequila is double distilled from lowland Blue Weber agave and left to mature in hand-selected oak bourbon barrels for at least 18 months before bottling. The additional oak influence gives this premium tequila complex flavors such as cinnamon, chocolate, and caramelized nuts.
The lengthy time in oak makes for a very rich, caramel-forward affair, and it should work very well as a digestif along with a square or two of dark chocolate.
What could possibly be better than an evening with close friends, enjoying yourselves together, setting the world to rights? Well, doing the same over a good drink. This premium tequila is truly one of a kind. Matured at least 18 months in hand-selected oak bourbon barrels, it is particularly complex and smooth, with slight notes of vanilla and chocolate, of caramelized nuts, cinnamon…. Just perfect to round off a convivial evening.
