Glenkinchie 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Pale gold color with an aromatic nose of vanilla, cut flowers; clean and toasty, increasingly sweet and creamy, with a little fresh citrus. It has a light, smooth body with a sweet, soft and flowery palate that is crisp on the mid-palate then an herbal and dry finish.

Light and smooth with a sweet, soft start becoming flowery. Crisp mid-palate then butter icing, lemon cheesecake and freesias.

Finishing herbal and drying, a little like pot-pourri. A replacement for the discontinued 10 Year Old. The distiller's say this version is 'richer, fuller' and the notes certainly sound like it has an extra creaminess over the 10.

South and East of Edinburgh, where the high, green Lammermuir Hills begin to roll more gently north towards the Firth of Forth, lies the farming country of East Lothian. Although it lies not twenty miles from Edinburgh's great castle and the bustle of the Royal Mile, Glenkinchie's quiet surroundings make this tranquil place seem more remote.
