It is made using only Tempranillo grapes, the most common grape of the region. The grapes used to make Faustino VII come from old vines that are over 40 years old. The plots from which the grapes are taken are carefully selected. After the grapes have been transported to the winery, the vinification and production of Faustino VIII begins. The various processes are performed following the great wine tradition of La Rioja, one of the most famous wine producing areas in the world. Traditional methods are used during these processes. Before being bottled and marketed, Faustino VIII is aged for around 10 months in american oak barrels.   Faustino is a traditional spanish winery that spans over 650 hectares of land, where they cultivate Tempranillo grapes. The winery now exports its wines to over 70 countries globally.
