La Aurora, the original cigar factory in Dominican Republic, celebrated its 110th anniversary with a fine and new release: The E. León Jimenes 110 Aniversario Rum by La Aurora; 10 total years of aging have led to the quintessential pairing experience for cigar lovers.

Only 3,000 numbered bottles of this rum are produced each year in collaboration with Ron Barceló. The 10-year-old spirit was crafted to bring out the best in premium cigars.

The aging process of E. León Jimenes 110 Aniversario is entirely unique, the first eight years in virgin American White Oak barrels give the rum most of its flavor, but the final two years in virgin French Oak tuns provide the roundness and homogeneity that give it the character and finish. The hints of honey, tobacco, red fruits, oak, and cocoa, please the discerning palate with a soft vibrancy and a complex fruit taste. It is a powerful and delicious spirit.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Amber with copper tones, bright and crystalline

Aroma: Excellent wood, with aroma of ripe fruit and hints of fig. medium shade vanilla. Close, long, and soft.

Palate: The product opens wide, warm, and well-balanced mouth. To finish with a sweet taste inheritance of sugar cane.
