This appealing bottling highlights the complexity of the Cabernet Sauvignon varietal. Established more than 30 years ago by legendary vintners Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, the roots run deep at Decoy. Since 1978, Duckhorn Vineyards has been exploring the character and complexity of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Drawing on the winemaking team’s expertise working with this varietal, Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon offers a rich and appealing expression of the varietal crafted to be ready upon release.

Tasting Notes:

This lush and alluring wine reveals layers of black cherry, ripe plum, cranberry and tapenade, with oak-inspired hints of nutmeg, vanilla and cardamom. On the palate, the generous and rich berry, ripe plum and blueberry flavors are accentuated by silky, mouthcoating tannins, with juicy acidity adding poise and energy to a long, luxurious and satisfying finish, with nuanced hints of oak and sweet baking spices.

Blend: 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot

Aged for 12 months in 35% New French Oak casks.
