This unpeated Highland single malt Scotch has aromas of fresh summer hay, malty cereal, rich creamy toffee and honeyed heather, all balanced with sweet oak and barley sugar. The palate shows a smooth, creamy sweetness with sumptuous hints of fruit, malty honeyed spiciness and soft vanilla, while the finish is crisp and satisfying, with a tingle of cloves which linger before gently fading. Matured for twelve years in ex-Bourbon barrels and non-chill-filtered, the whisky has a delicate taste of sweet honeyed fruit, gentle warmth and not a hint of smoke; it won a Silver medal at the 2013 International Wine and Spirits Competition.
