Chateau Vari 2009 Bergerac Rouge

Mechanical harvest. Traditional methods. Vatting for 15 to 20 days and frequent pumping-over. Ageing during 12 months in vats before bottling. 5 hectares. Soil : clayey-chalky soil Vignoble exposé sud/sud-ouest. Age of the vines: 40 years. Density : 5000 vine per hectare. Output: 50 hectoliters per hectare. Nice and deep red colour with cherry tints. The aromas of strawberry, redcurrant and liquorice are harmoniously combined. Lightly spicy.
