Chateau Les Millaux Bordeaux

This Bordeaux offers one heck of a bargain.  Situated just north of the Libourne district with borders close to the great appellations of Fronsac and Lalande de Pomerol, Chateaux les Millaux is one of Bordeaux’s best-kept secrets.  Planted to the usual suspects (i.e. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc), this smooth meritage offers up generous notes of cassis, dried currants, and sour cherry.  Hints of smoking oak and cedar spice grace the nose and palate while notes of sweet vanilla and white pepper dominate the hearty finish.
