Bardstown Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

This is one of the first “Futures Series” single barrels released from Bardstown Bourbon Company. This program allows you to select from the overage barrels from the Bardstown Bourbon Co. contract distilling runs.

The regular single barrel program allows you to select from the three BBC origin series mashbills. There will be no additional “futures series” barrel picks done and this year less than 20 barrels from this program will be bottled. These are very special because you get a unique mashbill outside of what BBC will put out in their single barrels going forward. 

This Bardstown is a single barrel release specially selected by Jensen's Liquors on October 15, 2019.

Tasting Notes:

Get notes of brownie batter and chocolate on the nose, moving into cherry cola on the palate with a subtle baking spice coming through on the finish. Overall, this is a crushable delicious pour.

This six-year Kentucky Straight Bourbon release represents so much goodness with how approachable and versatile it is. It can be enjoyed by everyone both neat and on the rocks as it drinks way below its proof and has tons of flavor.
