AMBHAR Plata is an exceptionally clean, silver tequila. Made from the purest form of blue agave, it is mellowed in stainless steel tanks for up to two months and then hand-poured into the distinctive AMBHAR decanter. As a brilliantly pure spirit with salty-sweet aromas of mellowed lime and pineapples, it’s the perfect tequila to mix flawlessly into a favorite cocktail. Each product is an artisanal, ultra-premium tequila, handcrafted in small batches from the finest 100% blue agave. Our batches of tequila are produced in a small distillery in Jalisco, Mexico and then hand-poured into our signature, elegant glass decanter that resemble canteens used by cowboys in the Old West.

Each decanter is hand-numbered and topped off with the special AMBHAR dragonfly charm for good luck. This plata / silver tequila is exceptionally clean, and while it offers a smooth and rich agave character, it’s got more of a citrus, lime, and almost tropical character to it. Ambhar calls the nose floral, I’d suggest they’re a bit more perfumy than flowery. A very delicate spirit and quite delicious. Color: Clear Nose: Salty-sweet aromas of mellowed lime and pineapples. Palate: A refreshing, yet soft, hint of spice and sweet butters. Finish: Refreshing and restrained.
