I was truly impressed by the 2017 El Principal Andetelmo, a very harmonious and integrated blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc and 12% Syrah from vines planted between 1993 and 1999 on alluvial soils with sand that must produce wines with finesse and energy. This has amazing balance and freshness for a challenging year like 2017. It's medium-bodied and elegant, with very fine tannins. Bravo!
