Blackberry and toasted oak with some chocolate and hazelnut aromas follow through to a full body with round, fine tannins and attractive fruit and vanilla-coffee character. Flavorful finish, yet refined and focused as the wine develops across the palate. A little shy at the end. Give it two or three years to come around.
