Our Blanco tequila is twice-distilled in copper-lined stills, then filtered, and aged less than two months in stainless steel containers.
The tequila owes its special flavor profile and insures the finest quality, by using old-style pot stills for distillation, which as a bonus, help prevent hangovers.
Many other tequilas use metal pots for distillation. The metal is absorbed by the liquid, making it difficult for the body to process, and can result in hangovers.
The unique flavor and profile of Casamigos Tequila comes from our extra-slow fermentation process. Ours takes 80 hours, which is double the industry standard. The use of bagasse from our agave for the fermentation process also generates a richer, deeper flavor, while our proprietary yeast blend ensures the most refined tequila.
