Description
Wine Advocate: 93 points
The bright yellow colored 2011 Añada de Baladiña has a very smoky/leesy nose with reminiscences of nuts and something spicy. It's an Albariño that has had a long aging and takes a different profile with hints of petrol and butter, balsamic and a little medicinal. This was kept in stainless steel for nine years (yes, nine years!), and during the first two years, the lees were stirred. It's medium-bodied, has moderate alcohol and very good freshness and acidity. It finishes dry and with some austerity. 2,500 bottles produced.
